After the firewall is powered on, check whether the LEDs of the optical interfaces are normal. If the LINK
LED is solid green, you can be sure that the link is connected. For more information about the LED status,
see the chapter “
NOTE:
By default, the copper port of a combo interface works. You can use the
combo enable
{
copper
|
fiber
}
command in interface view to change the working port. For more information about the command, see
the command references for the firewall.
Connecting an AC power cord
To connect an AC power cord, follow these steps:
Step1
Make sure the firewall is well grounded, and the power switch on the firewall is in the OFF position.
Step2
Connect one end of the AC power cord to the AC receptacle on the firewall, and the other end to the AC
power source.
Step3
(Optional) Use cable ties to secure the power cord to the rack to avoid drop of the power cord.
