Storage controller option
To install the component:
1.
Back up all server data.
2.
Power down the server (on page 12 ).
3.
Remove the server (" Remove the server from the chassis " on page 12 ).
4.
Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
5.
Prepare the storage controller for installation.
6.
Align the storage controller with the alignment pins and lower it into server.
7.
Push the handle down into the closed position to fully seat the storage controller.
8.
Install the server (" Installing a server " on page 16 ).
9.
Power up the server (on page 12 ).
