Install the drive.

Determine the status of the drive from the drive LED definitions (" Hot-plug drive LED definitions " on
page 8 ).
M.2 SSD module option
To install the component:
1.
Power down the server (on page 12 ).
2.
Remove the server from the chassis (on page 12 ).
3.
Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
4.
Locate the M.2 SSD module slots on the system board. For more information, see "Server
components (on page 9 )."
5.
Install the M.2 SSD module.
6.
Install the server into the chassis (" Installing a server " on page 16 ).
7.
Power up the server (on page 12 ).
