To play, the steps are as follow:

1.

Execute the program memory

SIZE

command and load the program by scanning the bar code on

page 61

0). Search for the submarine, moving the destroyer to any location on the grid by scanning the bar code for that position. You’ll
hear the sonar pulse go out. If you’re within range of the sub (within 2.5 leagues) you’ll hear an echo, the higher the pitch the
closer the sub.

Alternatively, you can ‘‘DROP DEPTH CHARGES’’ of check the ‘‘STATUS’’ to determine how many soundings you have
made and how many depth charges you have dropped.
