Web Interface for the Appliance

The appliance contains an embedded web server. The web server allows administrators to manage the configuration
of the appliance, review the status of the device, and view print jobs from your web browser.
This document explains what can be configured through this interface and how to

appliance.
Supported Web Browsers
The following web browsers are supported:
Netscape Navigator 4.01 or greater

Microsoft (R) Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater (with update version SP1)

Accessing the Web Interface
Follow these steps to access the web interface:
Open the web browser.

In the Location field (Netscape Navigator) or Address field (Microsoft Internet Explorer), enter the IP address
of the appliance, as displayed on the front panel liquid-crystal display (LCD) (for example: http://10.1.2.3).
Or, enter the DNS name of the appliance (if the DNS server has been configured with the correct name entry).

Enter the administrator name and password. (The default is "admin" for the username and "admin" for the
