Removal and replacement procedures

CAUTION:

Support the display assembly when removing the following screws. Failure to support the display assembly can

result in damage to the display assembly and other computer components.

5. Remove the four Torx T8M2.5×6.0 slotted screws

that secure the display assembly to the computer.

6. Lift the display assembly

straight up and remove it.

Perform the following steps in sequence to remove or replace the display bezel or the display assembly internal
components.

1. If it is necessary to remove the display bezel:

a. Remove the six rubber screw covers in the display bezel.

b. Remove the six PM2.0×5.0 screws that secure the display bezel to the display enclosure.
