1.

Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the hard drive cable is connected, and then disconnect the hard
drive cable from the system board.

2.

Detach the hard drive cable (2) from the base enclosure. (The hard drive cable is attached to the base
enclosure with double-sided adhesive.)

3.

Use the tab (3) on the hard drive rubber sleeve to remove the hard drive.

4.

If it is necessary to remove the hard drive from the rubber sleeve, spread the open end of the rubber
sleeve (1), and then remove the hard drive (2).

Reverse this procedure to reassemble and install the hard drive.
