HP recommends that you install two MPUs for redundancy, and install all switching fabric modules to
your switch. The active MPU and standby MPU must be the same model, and the switching fabric
modules used on a 12500 switch must be the same model.
•
The LST1XP8LEB1, LST1XP8LEC1, LST2SF08C1, LST2SF18C1, LST1XP16LEB1, and LST1XP16LEC1 are
supported by Release 1728 and above.
• OAA cards are not supported by R7XXX.
