Chapter 5: Maintenance
The PL1200 labeling system requires very simple maintenance to keep it running smoothly.
Please follow the instruction below.
5.1 Rollers
It is important to keep the rollers on the PL1200 clean at all times. The Roller locations are
shown in diagram 5.1a.
Occasionally, if a label is not picked off the label deck properly, the label can get stuck on the
rollers just below the label deck. Should this occur, remove the label from the roller.
Additionally, at this time and periodically, wipe the rollers clean with alcohol.

5.2 PL1200 Labeling Unit
It is recommended that the PL1200 labeling unit be cleaned with compressed air on a as needed
basis to remove any dust and paper debris that may have accumulated. This should also be
done with all media reels removed from the unit.
