COMMISSIONING
5.2 Filling the heating system
Filling of the heating system must be carried out by trained
personnel. The fill and make-up water must comply with
the quality requirements in the relevant state or country
(see chapter 5.1).
5.3 Filling the water heater (if fitted)
The heating boiler may be put into operation even when
the water heater is not filled.
5.4 Commissioning

WARNING
On first commissioning, check that all safety
and control devices are functioning properly.
Operation and maintenance of the system
must be explained in detail to the operator.

The siphon must be filled with water before
commissioning.
5.5 Oil burner
Setting the burner must also be carried out by a specialist
and the setting must correspond to the heat demand of
the system.
Please see the technical information / assembly instruc-
tions supplied with the burner.
5.6 Handover to the operator/storage
Have the operator confirm in writing that the operating
and service procedures have been explained and that he
has received a copy of the relevant operating manuals
(see sample on page 40). The system manufacturer is
responsible for providing operating manuals for the who-
le plant. The technical information/assembly instructions
must be kept with the system at all times.
