Drying Light

Empty Water Light

Cool Tumble
phase

Crease Care
phase

This light will glow whenever a programme is active (running).
If this light flashes it shows that an automatic programme has
exceeded 180 minutes.  For safety reasons this being the maximum
drying time available.
Should this occur, the causes may be:

The load is too big, or bulky.

The filter is blocked.

A cotton load was spun at LOW speed.

There may be a fault.

Turn the dryer Off, check through the first three causes, and then try
again.

This light glows during the drying part of the programme, except for
the short periods during the drum reverse action.

This light will glow when the water container is full.
You should not wait for this light to glow before emptying the water
container, but empty it after each load (see section "Emptying the
Water Container").
NOTE:  When the light glows you must stop the dryer and empty the
water container.
If the light glows during a drying cycle the timer will advance to the
Cool Tumble phase, without drying the load.
The light will take approximately 10 seconds to go out after replacing
the empty container.
You cannot start a new programme if this light glows, the water
container must be first emptied.

About 10 minutes before the programme is completed, the heating
elements will be switched off, and the programme enters the final
‘Cool Drying’ phase.  During this phase, the fabric is cooled.  You
should always allow the dryer to complete this phase.
By opening the door, you can check the dryness of the load as often
as you wish and if you want remove some items before they are fully
dry. (This is particularly useful for a mixed load where you want to
iron some items, but others to be fully dried.)
You will need to press the START button after closing the door
to re-start the programme.
See previous page.

At the end of the drying programme it may not be convenient to take
out the clothes immediately.  Do not worry, the dryer will protect your
clothes from creasing by gently turning them over occasionally by
means of a few revolutions of the drum.  At the same time, if you
have not cancelled the Alarm (Buzzer) a warning buzz will sound
intermittently to remind you that the clothes are ready to take out.
