POSSIBLE CAUSE
DRYER WON’T START
●
Dryer unplugged. Make sure power cord is plugged in.

No power to dryer. fuses and circuit breakers to make sure dryer is
getting current. Most electric dryers use two.

Controls improperly set. Make sure controls are set Start knob is turned.
Opening the door operation stops the dryer. To restart, close the door

loads.
Too few items in dryer. If drying only one article, add two more similar articles,
even if dry, to insure proper tumbling.
GENERAL
●
Some fabrics will shrink whether machine washed and tumble dried or
washed by hand and drip dried; others maybe safely washed but will shrink
in a dryer. Follow Garment Manufacturers’ Care Labels
If in doubt,
do not machine wash or tumble dry.
