8.11 Preparing for a wheel
change
WARNING
Danger to life caused by crushing and im-
pact in case of unprofessional or incorrect
operation.
¾
Strictly follow these work steps.
¾
Instruct persons to leave the working
and danger zone when working on the
machine!
NOTE
¾
Perform the wheel change at least with 2
persons!
¾
Perform a wheel change only with profound
expert knowledge and by using proper as-
sembly tools.
¾
Use the supplied lifting jack adapter to change
the wheels. Check the adapter for cracks and
damage before use.
¾
Work only on level ground with sufficient load
bearing capacity.
1. Completely lower the suspension.
2. Call up the test program submenu on the
terminal and lower the suspension completely
to the stop position.
3. Shut down the engine and pull out the igni-
tion key.
4. Secure the machine with wheel chocks
against rolling away.
5. Disassemble the wheel covering.
6. Clean guides on vehicle and adapter.
7. Place the adapter piece 1 to the first guide
rod and cock it at the top.

8. Place the adapter piece 2 to the second guide
rod and cock it at the top. Fit the two adapter
pieces together at the same time.
