Attention:
- Check that the appliance is emptied and cleaned before using.
- Before using, check for damage and ensure stable support for the device.
- Make sure that the furnace and the ashes have cooled before starting work.
- Connect the device to a grounded 230V ~ 50Hz outlet secured by a GFCI.
- Fasten the hose to the container using the bayonet connection.
- Set the filter on the cover; fix it with the fixing brackets on the container.
- Use the suction hose to suck up the ashes. Recommended minimum distance
from the ashes approx. 1 cm.
- Vacuum no more than 2-3 kg of ash, making sure that the textile filter remains
unclogged.
Stopping the operation
- Turn off the power and unplug the power cord
- Remove the device head with motor and filter and empty the container, clean the
filter and the unit and allow it to dry before the next use.
Care and Maintenance
- Before any care and maintenance work, the device must be turn off and unplugged.
- Allow only qualified personnel to perform repairs and work on electrical
components.
- Clean both the container and the surfaces (e.g. motor cover) exclusively with a
dry cloth.
- Clean the filter by tapping it out, brushing it down and, if necessary, hold it
under clear running water.
- The filter is a wear and tear part and must be replaced occasionally.
Safety information
- People with physical, sensory or mental limitations and/or a lack of experience
in handling the ash vacuum cleaner with motor should only use it if they are
supervised by a competent person responsible for their safety or one who has
been instructed in the device´s use.
- Keep packaging materials away from children - danger of suffocation!
- When the furnace and chimney cleaning is finished, the unit and the suction
filter must be cleaned.
- Only vacuum ashes from permissible fuel sources.
- Before vacuuming, test by churning the ash to ensure that it is sufficiently cooled.
- When mixed with the suction air some materials may form explosive vapours or
gas mixtures.
Attention:
- If the unit loses power/suction performance switch off the appliance immediately to
prevent overheating the motor.
- Always disconnect the ash vacuum cleaner from the power supply after use.
- Never allow sharp and/or metal objects to enter the interior of the appliance.
Electrical connection:
- Only connect the appliance to alternating current. The voltage must match
the rating plate.
Electrical Hazard:
- Never touch the mains plug and/or socket with wet/damp hands.
- Never pull the plug from the mains socket by pulling on the power cord.
- Check the power cord and plug for damage before each operation.
Damaged cable must be immediately replaced by an authorised customer service
in order to avoid hazards.
- To avoid electrical accidents, we recommend the use of sockets with upstream
residual current circuit breakers (max 30 mA rated tripping current).
