3.3.2. Prime

This service function will allow the operator to prime all reagents or pack.
1- In " Service " menu, press " Customer services " button ( Diag.7-9 ).
The " Hydrau. " tab is displayed.
2- Press " All reagents priming " radio button.
3- Press " Start cycle " button ( Diag.7-11 ).
4- When priming reagents or pack, verify that reagent is being primed. View the chambers for
reagent priming. Verify that reagent is coming in and draining out of the chambers when a cycle is
initiated. Verify that there are no air bubbles in the reagent lines when priming.
3.3.3. Backflush

This service function will allow the operator to clean the counting chamber apertures in case of
blockage.
1- In " Service " menu, press " Customer service " button ( Diag.7-9 ).
The " Hydrau. " tab is displayed.
2- Press " Backflush " radio button.
3- Press " Start cycle " button ( Diag.7-11 ).
4- Open the instrument door and verify that liquid is being pulled through the apertures. Watch for
a few micro-bubbles in the count tubing, coming from the counting head. When the backflushing
starts, verify that liquid is being pushed back through the apertures (watch for a few micro-bubbles
coming into the chambers from the counting head).

If you cannot see any micro-bubbles moving through tubing or in the chambers, the aperture may
still be blocked. In this case, perform a concentrated cleaning (See
3.3.5. Concentrated cleaning,
page 7-9 ).
