Change notification method for apps
Go to Settings > Notifications . Select an app to set the notification method for the app.
Enable Allow notifications : Play alert when new notifications are available for the app.
The notification method supported by each app may be different.
Notifications Turn on Screen
Go to Settings > Notifications > More notification settings , and enable Wake screen for
notifications . Your tablet will then automatically turn on the lock screen when it receives a
notification.
Show Notification Icons in the Status Bar
Go to Settings > Notifications > More notification settings , and enable Show notification
icons in the status bar .
Biometrics & Password
Face Recognition
Face Recognition allows you to unlock your tablet or access locked apps with your facial data.
Enroll Facial Data

Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition > Unlock device , and enter
your lock screen password.

Select Enable raise to wake .
The settings items vary by device. If your tablet does not provide a specific item, it indicates that
the corresponding feature is not supported.

Touch GET STARTED and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your facial data.
Add More Facial Profiles
You can add a maximum of five facial profiles for your tablet so that it can be shared with your
beloved ones securely.

Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Face Recognition , and enter your lock screen
password.

Touch Add facial profile and follow the onscreen instructions to enroll your facial data. After
finished enrolling, you can set the name of facial data.
Enable Face Unlock
On the Face Recognition screen, touch Unlock device , and select an unlock method.
If you have added multiple users to your tablet , you can use Face unlock only with the Owner
account.
