6.5 Cable screening  

In order to ensure the cable screen length and diameter is suitable for the terminal, it 
is recommended that a short length of wire is crimped to the cable shield braid as 
shown in the diagram below.  

 

 
 

Note: Cable shield “pigtail” and conductors must be as short as possible.
