Fig. 10 depicts the configuration when this S7999B is a subsystem of the System Modbus™ burner system network.

In this configuration, the Local S7999B is a Modbus™ slave to
the S7999B that has the system view perspective (System
S7999B). Data about the local burner system is made
available to the System S7999B when it accesses the
interface registers in the Local S7999B.
The Local S7999B automatically detects UDC controllers
connected to its network and displays them on the Home page
as they are found. No user involvement is necessary at the
S7999B to make the UDC controller visible to it.
The application type or function of the UDC controller is
automatically determined by the Local S7999B.
Each Local burner/boiler system can be designated as either
a burner system or a boiler system. This designation is
specified in the Local S7999B. Each system can also be
named. This system (equipment) name is displayed on the
Home page. You can quickly search for the S7810M and UDC
controllers on the Local Modbus™ network.
