Stand-alone Network

Overview of Installation Procedure

The initial installation of an HTRD400 system consists of the following steps:

Choose a location to mount the HTRD400 Recorder.

Mount the HTRD400 Recorder.

Wire the HTRD400 Recorder to the electrical system on the vehicle via the Interface
port.

Wire the triggers.

Standard PC or laptop
connection CAT5
Ethernet crossover
cable

Stand-alone operation — recording mode

PC or laptop connected — Playback mode or Configuration mode
