Report Generation

You can create a report to search for:

•

A particular type of clips (event, timelapse, motion event) created for a particular
period of time

•

Text type information (transactions, withdrawals, voids, over-rings, and so on)

•

A period of time

You can run reports simultaneously while recording continues (see

Using the Quick

Report Function

) or you can run reports with recording disabled (see

Using the Reports

Menu

). You can save reports and run them again, either manually or automatically each

day.

After you have set up these conditions, you can:

•

Quickly and easily search through recorded video

•

Create as many reports as you want

•

Edit, delete, run, and automatically schedule reports

•

Archive (copy) images in a report run to disk

This chapter describes how to use the Report function to perform the tasks listed above.

Using the Reports Menu

Caution

Using this method requires that live recording stops.

Access the Reports main menu as follows:
