Tilt the Gateway as shown in the below figure.
6.
Mount the top side of the Gateway on the DIN rail and
then push the bottom side of the Gateway until the
red clip on the Gateway clamps with the DIN rail.
7.
Connect the terminal wires, Ethernet cables, and
antenna (if applicable). For antenna installation, see
the “Antenna” section.
8.
Re-mount the terminal covers.
Mounting the Gateway on a
Wall/Panel Using Screws
1.
Remove the bottom Terminal Cover from the Gate
-
way. Use your fingers to push the cover upwards as
shown in the below figure.
2.
Remove the top Terminal Cover as described in the
previous step.
3.
Extend all the screw clips on the Gateway by placing a
flat blade screwdriver on the slot as shown and slide
out.
4.
Hold the Gateway along the wall and mark four drill
-
ing locations through the
higher point of the screw
clip slots
as shown in the below figure.
5.
Remove the Gateway from the wall and drill four
holes at the marked locations.
6.
Insert anchors into the four mounting screw holes.
7.
Hold the Gateway along with the wall/panel so that
the holes are aligned.
8.
Insert the screws into the topside holes first and fas
-
ten them with a screwdriver.
NOTE: It is recommended to use the 6-18 1” pan head
Phillips tapping screws.
9.
Insert the screws into the bottom holes and fasten
them with a screwdriver.
10.
Connect the terminal wires, Ethernet cables, and
antenna (if applicable). For antenna installation, see
the “Antenna” section.
11.
Replace the Terminal Cover or install the Extended
Terminal Cover (for more information, see the
“Extended Terminal Cover” section).
