Chapter 4 — Maintenance and Security

GMPT-401 Personal Tracker User Guide

To change the battery:

1

On the back of the tracker, remove the rubber screw caps with a small sharp
object and remove the 7 screws.

2

Remove the back cover to access the battery.

3

Remove the old battery and replace with the new battery (make sure the
orientation is correct).

4

Inside the back cover, remove the rubber seal and replace with the new one.

5

Place back cover on the tracker, making sure the SOS button is in place.

6

Secure the back cover with the 7 new screws and fit the screw caps.
