Tyre Puncture
Repairing a puncture or removing a wheel
requires special tools and technical expertise.
We recommend you have this type of service
performed by your dealer.
After an emergency repair, always have the
tyre inspected/replaced by your dealer.
Tube Repair and Replacement
If a tube is punctured or damaged, you
should replace it as soon as possible. A tube
that is repaired may not have the same
reliability as a new one, and it may fail while
you are riding.
If you need to make a temporary repair by
patching a tube or using an aerosol sealant,
ride cautiously at reduced speed and have
the tube replaced before you ride again.
Anytime a tube is replaced, the tyre should
be carefully inspected as described.

WARNING
Riding your vehicle with a temporary
tyre or tube repair can be risky. If the
temporary repair fails, you can crash
and be seriously injured or killed.
If you must ride with a temporary tyre
or tube repair, ride slowly and carefully
and do not exceed 50 km/h (30 mph)
until the tyre or tube is replaced.
Removing Wheels
Follow these procedures if you need to
remove a wheel in order to repair a
puncture.
