Unlock the Ignition Switch in an Emergency

After the last ID number is input, the ignition
switch ring and the Honda SMART Key
indicator come on, the buzzer rings twice.
Turn the ignition switch to the (On) position
within 6 minutes. You can start the engine.
To lock the ignition switch, turn the ignition
switch to the (Off), or (Lock) position, and
press and hold the ignition switch for more
than 2 seconds.
The ignition switch also locks automatically
when the ignition switch has been in the
(Off), or (Lock) position for about 6 minutes.
When the ignition switch is locked, the ignition
switch ring and the Honda SMART Key
indicator go off, the buzzer rings once, the
turn signals flash once.
To unlock the ignition switch again, redo the
“Unlock the Ignition Switch in an Emergency”
procedure.

The ignition switch does not unlock.
