Add Engine Oil:

16. Reinstall the drain bolts and sealing washers, and tighten the

bolts to the specified torques:

22 lb·ft (30 N·m, 3.1 kgf·m)

17. Lower your Honda SXS safely.
18. Fill the crankcase with the recommended oil, approximately:

engine oil filter change: 6.08 US qt (5.75 ℓ)
engine & DCT oil filters change: 6.1 US qt (5.8 ℓ)

19. Reinstall the oil fill cap and dipstick.
20. Start the engine and let it idle for 3 – 5 minutes.
21. Stop the engine and after 2 – 3 minutes, check the oil level. Make

sure the oil is between the upper and lower level marks on the
dipstick. If necessary, add more oil but do not overfill.

22. Reinstall the oil fill cap, dipstick and rear mudguard lid.
23. Lower the cargo bed.
24. Check that there are no oil leaks.

If a torque wrench is not used for installation, see your dealer as
soon as possible to verify proper assembly.
