SEPARATED PROTECTOR TYPE

Remove the muffler cover (page 12-6), If equipped.
Remove the 4 x 6 mm tapping screws (1), and muffler

cap (2), If equipped.
Remove the 5 x 8 mm tapping screws (3), R. muffler

protector (4), and L.muffler protector (5).
Remove the 5 x 8 mm tapping screws (6) and spark

arrester (7).

INNER/OUTER PROTECTOR TYPE

Remove the 6 x 10 mm bolts (1), and outer muffler

protector (2).
Remove the 4 x 8 mm tapping screw (3), and spark

arrester (4).
