18.1 Cleaning the motorcycle

Note

The high pressure forces water into the electrical components, connectors

throttle cables, and bearings, etc. As a result, components may be damaged

or destroyed.

Material damage

The vehicle and the battery are not suitable for

pressure cleaning.

– Never clean the vehicle and battery with pressure cleaner or a

powerful jet of water.

– Do not point a jet of water toward the battery discharge plug, even

if the protection cap has been mounted.
