Riding Your ATV

• Riding through water can make the brakes less effective than 

normal, and may reduce stopping ability.

• If necessary, apply the brakes repeatedly until they dry out and 

operate normally.

• If the brakes don’t regain effectiveness, stop your ATV and 

follow the procedures on page 170.
