TRANSPORTING
BEFORE TRANSPORTING
1.Make sure the engine switch, fuel valve are OFF (see page 24).
2.Drain all gasoline from the fuel tank and carburetor (see page 46).
WHEN TRANSPORTING THE GENERATOR
If the generator has been running, allow the engine to cool down
before loading the generator on the vehicle.
A hot engine and exhaust system can burn you and can ignite some
materials.
Do not load the generator on a vehicle to transport with the fuel filled.
The fuel may leak due to vibration during transport.
When transporting the generator, turn the engine switch and the fuel
valve lever OFF, and Keep the generator level to reduce the possibility
of fuel leakage.
Avoid a place exposed to direct sunlight when putting the generator on
a vehicle. If the generator is left in an enclosed vehicle for many hours,
high temperature inside the vehicle could cause fuel to vaporize
resulting in a possible explosion.
Do not drive on a rough road for an extended period with the generator
on board.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when
handling fuel.
• Stop the engine and keep heat, sparks,
and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
