Brakes

Servicing Your Honda

Place your motorcycle on its side stand.

Check that the rear pedal assembly is
positioned properly and the securing bolts
are tight.
Rear: Make sure the brake rod, brake arm,
spring, and fasteners are in good condition.

Apply the brake control (pedal) and check
the movement of the arrow ( ) on the brake
arm ( ). Replace the brake shoes if the
arrow aligns with the reference mark ( ) on
the brake panel ( ) upon full application of
the brake. If replacement is necessary, see
your Honda dealer.
