The buttons under the driver’s side
vent adjust the brightness of the
instrument panel.

The brightness can be shown within
the six brightness levels on the
display. When you push either of the
control buttons, the odometer
display changes to circles that show
you the current level. You will hear a
tone when you reach the maximum
or minimum brightness. The display
returns to the odometer values 5
seconds after you stop adjusting the
brightness.

To reduce glare at night, the
instrument panel illumination dims
when you turn the light switch to

or

. You can adjust the

brightness to the desired level with
the headlight switch off, and also
with the headlight switch on. Both
settings will remain at those levels
until you change them.

With the headlight switch on, you
can switch the display to full daytime
brightness by pushing and holding
the

button. Push the

button to

reduce the brightness.

The centre of each meter (upper and
lower) illuminates with reduced
brightness when you unlock and
open the driver’s door, and then goes
back to the selected brightness when
you turn the ignition switch to the
ON (II) position.
