If You Cannot Open the Trunk

If you cannot open the trunk, use the following procedure.

Remove the driver side rear outer head
restraint.

Removing and Reinstalling the Head
Restraints

P. 221

Remove the built-in key from the keyless
remote.

Wrap a cloth around the tip of the built-in
key. Put it into the cover (as shown in the
image) and remove the cover.

Insert the key into the cylinder and turn it
clockwise.

The trunk unlocks and opens.
