Right Side Cover Removal

Servicing Your Honda

Saf ety Precautions

Refer to

on page

.

Align the lower prong with the lower
grommet.

Push the prongs in.

Align the upper prongs with the upper
grommets.

The right side cover must be removed to
check the engine oil level and change the
engine oil, engine oil filter and HFT oil
filter.

Immediately after stopping the engine, the
engine, exhaust pipe and muffler will be
hot. Be careful not to burn yourself.

By pulling the right side cover ( )
toward you with the notch ( ), pull out
the upper prongs ( ) from the upper
grommets ( ).
By pulling up the right side cover, pull
out the lower prong ( ) from the lower
grommet ( ).
