If a Fuse Blows

Taking Care of the Unexpected

Disconnect the wire connector ( ) of
the starter magnetic switch ( ).

Remove the fuse box cover ( ) from
the fuse box ( ).

Reconnect the wire connector.

Pull the fuse out. If the main fuse is
blown, install a new main fuse ( ).

To access the main fuse ( ), remove
the seat (page

).

Install the seat.

To check or replace a circuit fuse, pull
the old fuse out of its retaining clips.
Look for a burned wire inside the fuse.
If the fuse is blown (

), replace it with

a spare fuse (

) of the same rating or

lower.
