10.Pulizia del serbatoio carburante

Acqua e polvere, sporcizia o materiale estraneo nel serbatoio carburante riducono 
le prestazioni del motore.

La benzina è estremamente infiammabile e, in determinate condizioni, 
esplosiva. Maneggiare il carburante con attenzione per non restare ustionati 
o seriamente feriti.
Osservare quanto segue quando si pulisce il serbatoio carburante.

• Arrestare il motore.
• Eseguire il controllo in un'area ben ventilata.
• Tenere lontane fonti di calore, scintille e fiamme. Non fumare.
• Non versare la benzina. Pulire immediatamente la benzina versata e 

smaltire il panno o la stoffa usata per lo scopo compatibilmente con 
l'ambiente.

1. Assicurarsi che il tappo di riempimento olio motore sia ben serrato.
2. Rimuovere il tappo del serbatoio carburante e scaricare la benzina in un 

contenitore inclinando il motore verso il bocchettone di riempimento carburante.

3. Estrarre delicatamente il filtro carburante dal bocchettone di riempimento 

carburante per mezzo di un cavo meccanico.

4. Eliminare l'acqua e la sporcizia presenti nel serbatoio carburante sciacquando 

l'interno del serbatoio con un solvente non infiammabile o a basso grado di 
infiammabilità.

5. Installare nuovamente il filtro carburante nel serbatoio e serrare bene il tappo 

del serbatoio carburante.
