GB) OTHER MAINTENANCE
GR)

GB) SPARK PLUG

This engine uses a Champion RCJ-6Y Spark Plug (

A

) with .020"

(0.51mm) electrode gap. Use an exact replacement and replace
annually.

FUEL CAP

A leaking Fuel Cap is a fire hazard and must be replaced immediately.

SPARK ARRESTOR

(If saw is so equipped)

1. Always keep the muffler (

A

) and spark arrestor (

B

) on your saw

in good condition. A faulty spark arrestor screen can create a fire
hazard.

2. The spark arrestor screen is retained by the deflector (

C

).

Remove the deflector screw (

D

) to access screen.

3. Replace the spark arrestor screen if it is cracked or otherwise

deteriorated.

STORAGE

Before storing your chain saw, drain all fuel mix from tank into a
container approved for gasoline. Clean the saw and make sure that
handles are dry and free of oil. Store your chain saw and fuel mix
container in a well ventilated area away from sparks or open flames.
