OPERATING PROCEDURES & MAINTENANCE
1. Before using the appliance for the first time, be sure that it is placed vertically at least 10
cm away from all sides of the wall, curtains, etc.
2. Use an individual socket with more than 12.5A capacity. Never use a universal socket or
shared socket with other appliances. If the use of a multiple socket is indispensable, make
sure that those elements respect the limit power.
3. When using the appliance you will hear noises due to high frequency electromagnetic
waves. This is normal.
UNPACKING YOUR INDUCTION COOKTOP
1. After connecting to power supply, you will hear a buzz and see “L” blinking on the screen.
Press Power on/Standby (7) button to enter into the standby mode.
2. Select the power intensity by pressing the + (8) or – (9) button, or slide your finger on the
power intensity slider. The intensity light will show you the power level.
Warning: Never place any object on the ceramic plate before switching on the appliance.
Note:
• The Control panel is touch sensitive. There is no need to press with pressure.
• The Control panel must be clean, dry and shall not be covered by any object or cloth; even a
small amount of water can cause malfunction.
• Under the Standby mode, if no function button is pressed in about 10 seconds, the Induction
Cooktop will switch off automatically.
• Under one of the working modes, if no pot is placed on the ceramic plate, the Induction
Cooktop will switch off automatically a few seconds later (no more than 10 seconds).
Timer
• Press the Timer button (3) to activate the timer function. The digital screen will show 0 : 00.
• Press the +/- button to adjust the cooking time. Each press increases or decreases time by 1
minute. If you press and hold the button, it will increase or decrease by 10 minutes. The timer
range can be set between 1 minute and 180 minutes. Once it is set, the digital screen will
flash for 5 seconds before heating.
• To cancel the timer function, press again on the Timer button.
• The timer function can be used in combination with Keep warm and Simmer modes.
Keep warm mode
• During cooking, press the Keep warm button (1) to keep your food warm. The cooktop will
work automatically on the lowest power and stop after 120 minutes. To start the heating
process, simply press “+”, “-“ or slide to activate.
Simmer mode
• Press the Simmer button (2) to start simmer, you will see the Simmer light up on the screen.
The default power level is level 2. Press “+”, “-“ or slide to enter into the power mode.
