Attaching the Fan Blades
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY,
DO NOT BEND THE BLADES WHILE INSTALL-
ING, BALANCING THE BLADES, OR CLEANING
THE FAN. DO NO INSERT FOREIGN OBJECTS
BETWEEN ROTATING FAN BLADES.
Attach the blade arm to the blade using the
screws with rubber washers provided. Start a
screw into the blade arm and do not tighten.
Repeat for the two remaining screws and
rubber washers. (Fig. 15)
Tighten each screw securely starting with the
center screw. Repeat the steps for the remaining
blades.
Insert the blade assemblies through the slots in
the bottom band. (Fig. 16)
Align the holes from the blade arm to the holes
from the motor, and secure the blade arm in
place with screws and lock washer provided.
Repeat this process to attach the other blade
assemblies.
