Installation

Preparing the mounting plate

Loosely thread the screws (CC) and the hex nuts (DD) onto
the round mounting plate (BB).

Installing the mounting plate
□
Attach this assembly to the outlet box using the mounting
screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten
securely.

Adjusting the screw length
□
You now need to adjust the screw length (CC) according to
the fixture canopy depth.

Lift up the canopy (A) and pass the screws (CC) through the
two mounting holes in the fixture canopy. While holding the
canopy with one hand, thread the screws (CC) in or out of
the round mounting plate (BB) until 3/16 in. of threads are
showing. That should be enough to mount the fixture as
instructed in step 6.

Next, take the canopy down and tighten the hex nuts (DD)
up against the round mounting plate (BB). You now should
have the correct length of threads for mounting the fixture.
