If one or more parts of the machine are defec-
tive, the use of the machine is prohibited. De-
fective parts must be replaced immediately.
Only replacement parts which have been ap-
proved by the manufacturer may be used. It is
prohibited to make any changes to the ma-
chine.
•
Hazard due to electric shock:
Only operate the machine at a power source
which is protected by an appropriate residual-
current circuit breaker. Socket-outlets must be
properly installed, earthed and tested!
•
Hazard due to unintentional start-up of the
machine.
•
Hazard due to wood dust:
The inhalation of wood dust is a health hazard!
•
Damage to hearing if ear-muffs are not used
as necessary.
•
Harmful emissions of wood dust when used in
closed rooms.

OPERATION
6.1
Angle adjustments
To achieve perfect sanding results you have to
ensure that your machine parts are steadily ad-
justed properly. Prior to first operation an subse-
quently every 3 months you should check the
angle fit of your sanding table and your mitre
gauge.
For this you need a precise angle gauge.
Adjust sanding table
Loosen the fixing bolts, bring the sanding table
into 90° position so that the gauge aligns in a
degree of 90 to sanding disc and sanding table.
If the angle index on the machine side does not
match exactly the 90° it has to be readjusted.
Adjust angle gauge
Swing and fasten the already adjusted sanding
table into 90° position. Now bring the angle gauge
into 90° position to the sanding table and check
on the angle index if it matches exactly. If not ,
readjust the angle index.
6.2
Sanding table tilt
You can tilt the sanding table max. 45° down-
wards.
Loosen the fixing bolts on the left and right side,
bring the sanding table into the desired position
and do not forget to fasten the fixing bolts at the
end firmly again.
6.3
Turn on / Shut off
Turn the machine on by pressing the green ON
button
Shut the machine off by pressing the red OFF
button.
Let the yellow cap rest on the buttons during op-
eration. In the case of emergency pressure on the
yellow cap activates the smaller OFF button laying
below.
6.4
Operation Instructions
Let the disc sander reach its full speed before
starting to sand.
The angle gauge enables you to sand exactly and
more secure – so use it.
Do not force the machine! Do not attempt to sand
more than 0,3mm in one run. Use the correct
sanding paper for the job.
Do not sand any workpieces being shorter than
8mm or being thinner than 10mm.
Sever hazard of hand injury!
For surface sanding jobs of rather thin workpieces
we strongly recommend the use of feeding acces-
sories.
Always be aware of the rotation direction of the
sanding disc.
The sanding disc should always sand the work-
piece from up to down.
This prevents the hazard of workpiece kickback
and injuries.

MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Disconnect the machine from
the power supply.
The HOLZMANN TS 305 is quasi maintenance
free.!
Do not use aggressive solvents or similar –
they will harm the machine surface.
Repairs may be carried out by professionals
only!
Sanding disc change
Turn the machine off and disconnect it from the
power supply.
Now remove the sanding table. You have to re-
move first all fixing bolts first.
