GPS Cold Start

If it takes too long for GPSport 255 to fix position, say when moving

away 300 KM or the device is powered off more than 2 hours; perform

cold start to reset data in chip to shorten fix time.

1. Left button

select “GPS Cold Start”

Right button

enter “GPS Cold Start” page.

2. Left button

select “Yes” or “No”

Right button

confirm and save.

3. Select “Yes”

Restart the device

immediately.

Select “No”

Return to the main menu.
