15 Bus configuration menu
This menu is of interest to you, if you have a data collector (DEL -
TA XL or HELIOTEX). If you want to make a network, please read
thoroughly the instructions that come with the software at first. In
this menu, you can make settings for networking to operate the
data collector.
This will take you to the bus configuration menu:

Following menu options are successively programmable:
insert master card

unhold
You can change the values after your desire with help of PLUS
and MINUS button. With NEXT button you call up the next po -
sition.
Display shows Factory setting Description
Device address 1 Bei der Geräteadresse haben Sie die Möglichkeit, dem UNO im Bus-System
eine Adresse zwischen 1 - 36 zuzuordnen. Dabei ist darauf zu achten, dass
zwei Geräte nicht dieselbe Adresse bekommen.
Jedes XL-Gerät muss eine andere Gerätenummer bekommen! Es dürfen kei -
ne Nummern doppelt vergeben werden, sonst ist das Bus-System nicht in der
Lage die jeweilige Adresse auszulesen. Außerdem müssen die Gerätenum -
mern mit den im SkinControl® eingestellten Nummern und der zugehörigen
Kabine (dem jeweiligen Solarium) übereinstimmen.

Baudrate 9600 With the setting baudrate, you have the possibility to set various data trans -
fer speed. The smaller the number the slower the data transfer. You have the
possibility to choose between 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400. The
standard setting is 9600 baud.
Parität even With the setting parity, you have the possibility, to check the sent data for mis -
takes. By the setting “ even ”, the even number bits will be checked, with the
setting “ uneven ”, the “ uneven ” numbers. No checking will be carried out, with
the setting " none ". The standard setting is " even ".
