The Master Controls:
1. ON: On- / Off-switch with LED.
2. VU-meter with LEDs as indicators for the signal strength of the main output in
stereo. If STEREO/SPLIT (6) is set to SPLIT only the left bar shows the signal
of the main output but the right bar shows the signal strength of the
headphone output (= CUE LEVEL).
3. BOOTH: Volume control of the booth output signal. (e.g. a monitoring sound
system) This signal will not be shown on the VU-meter (2).
4. MASTER/BALANCE MASTER: Adjusts the signal strength to the main output. /
Furthermore the balance of the stereo signal is adjustable.
5. MONO/STEREO: Set to MONO the stereo signal will be transformed to one
channel only.
6. STEREO/SPLIT: Set to STEREO the headphones grip the stereo signal which
goes to the main output. Set to SPLIT the headphones get the signal to the
main output left hand and the signal from the chosen channel right hand. (See
The Channel Controls point 5).
7. CUE PAN: If STEREO/SPLIT (6) is set to SPLIT this is the balance adjuster at
the output of the headphones which regulate the ratio of the signal to the
main output and the one from the chosen channel. (See The Channel Controls
point 5)
8. CUE LEVEL: Volume control of the headphones.
9. (EARPHONES): The TRS-connector for the headphones is situated down right.
Suitable headphones should have impedance between 32
Ω
and 200
Ω
.
