Please read manual carefully and act so,
to become full pleasure of your new high powersound amplifier.
First steps
To use your new PA-amplifier please do the following steps first:
installation:
•
This stereo amplifier should be installed in an 19“-rack with double size. Take care that place of installation is well ventilated, free
of dust,
and not suspended to direct sunlight.
•
Take care that in- and output cables are connected with correct polarity: (red for plus/black for minus). Signal-inputs are 6,35mm
mono plugs.
•
Warning:
Before you switch on the amplifier, put volume-adjuster to minimum (left). If you put volume to high and speaker`s
impedance is wrong, the amplifier goes into protect-mode.
protect-mode:
The amplifier has following protection modes:
•
The
fuse
holder are in the amplifier`s case. For replacement please open the amplifier Take care by replacing the fuse only with an
equivalently fuses (same ampere).
•
Protect-Mode:
Don`t connect speakers with impedance lower than 4 ohm! Otherwise the amplifier cuts off by going into protect-
mode, to avoid destruction to the amplifier. Same happens, if an attached loudspeaker (e.g. short-circuit) is defective.
Protect-Mode by thermical shutdown:
by long use under very high volume the amplifier heats up. If the temperature arrives a
critical level, the protect-mode will be activated and the equipment will be switched off. In this case the amplifier needs about 10-
20 min. for cooling. After colling down you can switch it back on with lower adjusted volume. Such thermal problems can be
prevented, by selecting a place of assembly with sufficient ventilation.
Warning:
•
Do not open the amplifier in use. This may cause deadly current impact.
•
Before opening the amplifier, replace powersupply from sockets and replace the speaker-cables.
•
Don`t leave any substances in the amplifier by closing the case and don`t and you do not block the exhausts.
•
If you have to repair the amplifier take the professional help of an authorized hifi-dealer.
