For a ladies frame (fig. 6), mount
the bike as shown in Fig. 6a and
6b, again maintaining balance
and using the best tie down
points.
Be sure to note the location of
the pedal, as you may have to
rotate the crank in order to keep
the pedal from hitting the vehicle
There are two gray colored tie-
down straps attached to the rack
as shown in Fig. 1. Be sure to
use both of these straps.
Place the bike protective pads
between bikes and bike rack
frame to help protect you vehicle
and bike’s finish. The extra, non-
attached straps can be used for
extra bike tie down security.

Rubber bike cradles: Refer to
fig. 7a: Attach the rubber strap
to the back (right side) of the
cradles as shown in Fig. 7a.
After mounting the bike in the
cradle, pull the strap gently over
the bike frame and attach the
other end of the strap to the
cradle. Straps should be snug,
but do not over-tighten. Route
straps under cables per 7b & 7c.
Carrying two bikes: Mount the first bike per above
instructions, using the extra tie-downs to secure the
bike to the rack. Mount the second bike with the
handlebars on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Be sure
to rotate pedals to avoid bike to bike interference, and
use the protective pads between the bikes. Use both
the upper gray tie-down strap and the side mounted
gray tie-down strap to secure bikes to rack.
Remember to re-check all straps after the bicycles have
been mounted. Re-tighten straps as necessary.
