Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the
product.
PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and diagram contents. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the
product.
• PROPOSITION 65 WARNING- Handling the coated electrical wires on this product could expose you to
lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects and other reproductive
harm. To reduce the risk of exposure, wash hands after use.
• Failure to follow these instructions may result in pe
rsonal injury and/or damage to property.
• Use care when handling.
• Do not store in damp locations or in temperatures i
n
excess of 100°F (37.77°C).
• WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, BASIC PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED, INCLUDING:
A. Do not use decorative outfits outdoors unless marked suitable for indoor/outdoor use. When
products are used in an outdoor application, conne
ct the product to a Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupting (GFCI) outlet. If one is not provided, contact a qualified electrician for proper installation.
B. This seasonal product is not intended for p
ermanent installation or use.
C. Do not mount or place near gas or electric heat
ers, fireplaces, candles or similar sources of heat.
D. Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or nails.
E. Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
F. Unplug the product when leaving the house, wh
en retiring for the night, or whenever it will be
unattended.
G. This is an electric product--NOT A TOY! To av
oid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric
shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
H. Do not use this product for other than its intended use. Do not hang ornaments or other objects
from the cord, wire, or light string.
I. Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire
insulation.
J. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.

A blown fuse indicates an overload or short circuit
situation.If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Also unplug any additional strings or
products that may be attached to the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short circuit may be
present and the product should be discarded.
M. Do not connect C 7, 1/2 or C 9, 1/4 type light se
ts or any other electrical applications to this set.
N. This is not a tree ornament or decoration; do not use on indoor Christmas trees.

1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, use only wi
th the power supply cord provided or with a cord set
intended for outdoor use.
2. Do not use a cracked, frayed or damaged cord.
Inspect the cord periodically.

Always unplug this product before installing or r
eplacing fuses.
6. To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not install on trees having needles, leaves or branch
coverings of metal or materials which look like metal, and do not mount or support strings in a manner
that can cut or damage wire insulation.
