Batteries’ replacement
Remove the cover from the battery compartment, by sliding it
in the direction of the arrow.
Insert the new batteries, ensuring that the ( + ) and ( - ) directions
are correct.
Refit the cover by sliding it into place.
Use two AAA (1.5V) type batteries. Do not use rechargeable
batteries. Always insert two new batteries of the same brand
(never insert one new battery and one old battery, as this
may cause a malfunction).
Replace the batteries when the display is no longer legible.
The remote control batteries must be disposed of in accordance
with the applicable laws in force in the country of use.

Please remove the batteries from remote control if you foresee
not to use it for a long time.

Normal average life of a battery set is of about 6 months ~ 1 year.
IMPORTANT!
REMOTE CONTROL SETTING
Please refer to Fig.1:
When you insert the batteries in the remote control or if
you change them, the Remote control makes a short
“Auto-Test”: all symbols that can be displayed are shown
on LCD display.
Then, on the left side of the display, the symbol
will flash from “COOL” to “HEAT” alternatively.

If you press whatever button on remote control when the symbol flashes next to “COOL”,
the remote control is adjusted in “only cooling mode”.
If you press whatever button on remote control when the symbol flashes next to “HEAT”,
the remote control is adjusted in “heating mode”: this means that Heating mode and Cooling
mode are both available.
BE CAREFUL
: If while the symbol flashes alternatively from “COOL” to “HEAT”, you
wait 10 seconds
without pressing any button on remote control, after this time interval the
symbol will automatically stop next to “COOL” : at this point, Heating mode and Cooling mode
are both available when operating the air conditioner).
If you would like to change remote control’s setting, you need to take out the batteries and
repeat again the procedure described above.
