7.7 Front wheels

rigid

- Check for general damage

- Check of the tread or profile (cracks, heavy wear)

- impurities  

- Check of the air pressure of pneumatic tires

swiveling

- Plastic or aluminum steering fork

- Swiveling of the wheel forks

- Fluttering of the wheels (steering fork damping installed?)

- Check for general damage

- Check of the tread or profile (cracks, heavy wear)

- impurities  

- Check of the air pressure of pneumatic tires

Check of the bolted connections:

- Screw connection of the wheel axle

- Bolting of the steering fork axle to the frame

Make sure that the steering fork is set up as follows!

The sealing washer with the O-ring prevents excessive

„fluttering“ of the steering forks.

The screw must be tightened accordingly with 40 Nm!

- Camber of the wheel worn too much
