WORKPLACE
To ensure safety at work, adequate lighting must be provided and the workplace must be kept clean. Do not use the device in an
environment with an increased risk of explosion, or in an environment of flammable liquids, gases or vapours. Use appropriate perso-
nal protective equipment during work and avoid work in a state of fatigue. Ensure that the workplace is adequately ventilated to prevent
the inhalation of harmful fumes generated during work.
USE OF THE DEVICE
Before starting work, make sure that the unit is free from defects and faults, that the power
cord is not damaged or interrupted. If any malfunction is detected, do not continue working
and return the unit to an authorized service center. Make sure that the plug of the electric
cable fits into the mains socket. Avoid contact between the power cable and heat, oils, sharp
edges and moving parts. Damage to the power cord increases the risk of electric shock.
Use the right tool for the job and avoid overloading it. Before starting work, the workstation
must be properly prepared.
Plug the plug into an electrical outlet while holding the device by the handle. Direct
the heat gun towards the heated surface and press the power button. Press the
power button to turn off the unit. The heat gun will automatically start cooling mode
and turn off after 30 seconds. To switch off the heat gun immediately, without any
cooling down process, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
The heat gun has two operating modes with flow rates of 250 l/min or 550 l/min. To
change the airflow value, press the fan button. At each gear it is possible to regula-
te the air temperature at six levels according to the table above.
To change the temperature, press the button
to increase the temperature
or the button
to decrease the temperature.
The temperature can also be adjusted according to the distance of the heat gun from the surface of the heated object. The closer, the
higher the temperature. The smallest permissible distance between the heat gun nozzle and the heated surface must not be less than
25mm.
It is possible to work with the heat gun without using your hands. To do this, place the heat gun on a base built into the rear of the
body and the handle on a smooth, stable and horizontal tabletop. In this way, it is possible to work with the heat gun with both hands.
Before changing accessories or storing, disconnect the plug from the mains socket and allow the device to cool down completely.
CAUTION: The unit heats up to high temperatures during operation and may cause burns. Do not touch the working part and nozzles
during operation. After heating up, only hold the handle. Do not immerse the heat gun in water or other liquids to cool down. Do not
point the hot airflow at live parts, animals or people. Never clog or restrict the air inlet/outlet openings of the device.
Disconnect the plug from the electrical socket after finishing work and switching off the heat gun. Then place the heat gun in a vertical
position, placing it on the base built into the rear of the body and the handle and leave it to cool down completely. You can then proceed
to cleaning and maintenance.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, CLEANING
Always unplug the device from the mains socket before performing maintenance and cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth or brush to remove
the dirt. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. An air stream of not more than 0,3 MPa may also be used.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Damaged equipment, accessories and packaging materials should be recycled and used in an environmentally friendly manner.
