7. Cleaning and maintenance
7.1. Removing and installing the spindle for cleaning.

Removal: Undo the 2 knurled nuts on the side.
▶
Rotate the bayonet pressure pad by 90°.
▶
The spindle can be drawn out at the rear
with the jaws open.
▶
Proceed in reverse order for installation.
7.2. Cleaning
▶
Cleaning and maintenance are essential to the ongoing function of the
device.
▶
Clean the lower part and the spindle.
▶
Unscrew the spindle from the spindle nut and clean it.
▶
Check the function of the wipers.
▶
Oil all sliding surfaces, do not grease.
Never clean the vice with compressed air.
Otherwise there is a risk of personal injury due to flying swarf.

Only manufacturer-approved spare parts must be installed.
